Which animal walks on four feet in the morning, two feet at noon and three feet in the evening?

I remember being told once that the answer to this was Human.  the am noon and evening referring to the human life cycle.  ie - when you are a baby you crawl (4 feet) when you are an adult you walk (2 feet) and when you are old you sometimes need a walkingstick (3 feet).

I cant guarantee that this is the right answer, but its what I heard.  :o)
