Checked with setter and no typing error, definitely S H H A T and is a phrase or saying, one of the words in which contains a body part.

So just S H H A T to solve in this very frustrating local quiz.

and asking for help or ideas once again, please.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Does your title mean that it is definitely a ditloid then (i.e. the S or the H represents a number such as six, seven etc)?
hand, head, heart, tongue, teeth, tooth, toe, trunk, tonsil...........anymore?
AT could be adult teeth
thighs, Tilly
and hairs
sixteen healthy human's adult teeth? Okay it's 32 but it might generate some ideas
Oh, yes. Thighs and hair. :-)
septegenarians have hardly any teeth?
Good one, FF. That made me laugh. x

Six heavy hearts are toiling.
If it was H S K A T I'd know it
"Six heavy hearts are toiling" sounds like something written by a famous poet or playwright. Did you make it up yourself, Tilly?
I read there are six hundred hairs in each human eyebrow but I can't make that work
I did, I think! but there are recesses, aren't there?

I'll google it.
I made it up.
That's what all the best writers do Tilly. (Apart from Shakespeare who just strung together a few well known quotations.)
..shoulder, spine, skin, stomach..thumb...arms, ankle...
wonder as it is a local quiz could it be to do with where you are xx
Standing Head High and Tall ??? Guess!
That sounds good, JJ but I thought it had to have a number as well.
Although the puzzles are referred to by Trussell as ditloids at least one answer on another thread included no number
