Against The Flow
4 Answers
On Thursday, my granddaughter had the fantastic experience of training with acrobats from the Cirque du Soliel followed by questions and answers, then privileged seats at the evening performance. A great day for her. Later, I went to collect her from the Trafford Centre in Manchester. What a carry on! Everyone was coming out after the show, so I drove into the car park. What's wrong with that? Well, I was the only car going IN. Everyone was going crazy and telling me I was going the wrong way, blocking the exit, but THEY were blocking the entrance. The exit's there, they were all shouting. They couldn't get it that I wanted to get in but couldn't because of them. People were getting very animated. One guy threatened to punch my lights out. So I just left my car where it was, left them to it and went for my granddaughter. When I got back, they had gone but a jobsworth in a yellow coat told me I had caused chaos and was lucky my car hadn't been removed. That wouldn't have happened because all the roads were choked with cars. I just said I wanted to get in, but no-one could see that. Talk about going against the flow!

clarion cherie cherie !
granddaughter - no no younger sister surely?
I am glad she enjoyed it all - I liked Amazulu ( I think it was a show by CdS and not a group - and Afrique or Lulu or something ) Royal Albert Hall - I suppose that should be Albair .....
I went down ( to Lundy) and tottered around a bit
and priddy young leddies ( you possibly ) offered me their seats at the Royal Albair Bar. I felt so decrepit I just said "thanks PYL" and not even 'do I look that crap?' Good Show tho'
I thought you did very well not to tell the jobsworth to get staffed.
