Good morning everyone - after the weather woes of the weekend we just might be heading in the right direction today ...well the morning was cold and now the sun is shining so maybe there's hope for us yet !!

Much quieter on the scoring side ....none of the hi jinks from last week but at least no tricky matches !!

And the STAR TURNS came from HANDBAGLADY, MUZZ & NABOB all of whom collected 6 points for three correct selections ....nice going, ladies !!

Surprise, surprise !! One of the dedicated inhabitants of the Club rooms inadvertently, I"m sure, managed to score himself a point which brings to an end a long running list of 'outs' Congrats ?? to STRIX !!!

Only I've a nasty feeling that someone else, a newcomer to the gang, is trying the same lark ....like Strix, he likes to think outside the box/square/planet and come up with some 'unusual' answers ...you know who you are ...I shall be watching !!

Back to business, next week is our last for the month, final throw at the stumps etc, hope to see you all on Saturday/Sunday .....skz

Yes , I am taken aback but, oddly, at the same time rather pleased.
I try to make sure when I post late on a Sunday afternoon that no one at that point has used any of my planned link words (Lie in King has often "stolen" them!).
But when I saw DOOR BELL had not been used I was genuinely taken aback. It seemed such an obvious choice that I was prepared to chance being booted out of the FFC and my membership card being torn up!
