Costs Of Fitted Sealed Double Glazing Units
5 Answers
Can anyone please give me approximate costs, including VAT, for fitting of the following double glazed sealed units:
(Dimensions are given in millmetres, width x height).
1 no. 1150 x 1100
1 no. 640 x 970
1 no. 600 x 970
I would just like to have some idea of what the costs might be before I request estimates. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me.

The biggest one about £100, we had a similar size one replaced last year. We also had some small transoms done which cost about £30 each. This was for the double glazed glass bits only.

It is a good bit easier and thus possibly cheaper to fit glass to PVC windows than to wooden ones, plus damage/deterioration may come to light in wood and unexpectedly increase the cost. Although you don't say so, you are presumably going to ask for supply and fitting ? If your windows are of PVC and readily accessible then you could save half or more of the cost by doing the fitting work yourself, just copy the setup with the spacers/packers.
