Got to love Jools.
Gotta be good if Jules is tickling the ivories.

He was appearing locally (Ipswich) with his band last night. I thought about going but I decided that I couldn't really afford £40 for a ticket :(

(My finance aren't too great after having to buy a 'new' car recently!)
A shame that, Chris. Maybe he'll appear again when your a bit more flush.

( What happened to the old car, Chris ) ?.

Tony:
My much-loved Escort Estate needed two new tyres, a new catalytic converter and (to use the mechanics exact words) "a shedload of welding" to give it any chance of passing the MOT. So it's gone to the big car park in the sky and I'm driving a rather nice Saab 9-3 (if I've still got any money left to put any fuel in it, that is!)
Ah I see, Chris. An economic decision ( and a wise one ).

Which 9-3, Chris ?.
Question Author
9-3 saloon, silver, 06 plate
Question Author
^^^ 1.8 litre
Nice car, Chris. Linear or a Vector ?.
Question Author
Don't ask me. I struggle to tell the difference between a Model T Ford and a Lamborghini!
LOL ^^^^^^

Ok, does your Saab have front fog lights, Chris ?.
Question Author
Not that I've found yet!

(It cost be twenty quid for a handbook on eBaY just so that I could adjust the clock. I don't do complicated stuff like that!)
No front Fog Lights = Linear, Chris.

I think I've still got an Haynes book somewhere from when I had a 9-3, will have a look and let you know when I find it, Chris. It's yours if you want it.
Yep, just found it, Sept 2002 to Sept 2007 Petrol and Diesel models.
Let me know if you want it and how to get it to you, Chris.
Question Author
Thanks for that offer, Tony. One of the guys I drink with mentioned that he might have a Haynes manual for it, so (given that I see him in the pub every Sunday night) that's obviously the easiest way for me to get one but, if it turns out he was wrong, I might get back to you on that. (However, given that I'm lost doing anything other than putting fuel, oil, air and water into what I hope are the right places, I'm not sure if a Haynes manual would actually be that much use to me anyway!)

Thanks again!
No problem, Chris. Just give me a shout if you want it.
