2 for a couple of years the adults decided to buy presents costing no more than £5 we had a lot of fun with trashy(and rude) things xx

1. Not sure but would imagine my Paul Smith handbag must be up there. For longevity though my 'Simon' toy is definitely the most enduring, not that you asked about enduring gifts.

2. A friend once gave me a pair of acrylic socks with diamanté cats on. I don't wear synthetic fibres, am ambivalent towards cats and don't like sparkles.

What's the valuation of your daughter , then ?
1 and 2...? A washing machine. Arranged by DD when she was in Australia one year.

Can't think of the oddest Christmas present so will this do....

When I lived in Canada I opened the door to a man holding a little gift box.
He said he'd been watching me and wanted to give me a present....before I could slam the door he thrust the box at me and ran....
It contained an insect magnifying jar?????

I would say my Dad's new lungs for Christmas in 2003.

Definitely the most valuable and unusual present. Couldn't be topped.
1. a television for my kitchen.
2 One Christmas my husband bought me a set of oven gloves,, a new shopping bag and a CD that I was going to buy anyway.
He had asked me what I would like beforehand and i said perfume please, any type. but he said I had got plenty already!
