I am not able to solve this month's big Sudoku as there are repeated numbers in rows/columns of the middle puzzle when I solve the bottom right hand puzzle. I had the same problem last month as did others, I believe. Does anyone know what has happened?

Exactly the same problem. Really frustrating!!
A little more difficult than usual, but it is solvable, unless you have a different grid to the one I have.
Same problem here.......two 3's.....?
I had the same problem last month as well as this - I did take a look at the solution yesterday and it does look solvable. I think that one might have to solve the centre puzzle first, which I never do - I do not know why the methodology has changed - very annoyying
good luck and Happy New year
Thank you all for your answers. I have spent three days struggling all to no avail.
Yes they have both been harder .....It isn't possible to complete one of the 5 sections without working on all the others first. Work through all 5 as far as possible then look what happens in the overlaps in the centre grid...quite a few numbers are soon eliminated...

Ask again if you need some help?

I raised a query with the Telegraph about this, they assure me that it can be solved. However, I tried using a Sudoku solver and discovered that there are multiply solutions for the bottom right hand puzzle, so I think that it will take quite a while to solve to whole puzzle.
Yes ... you have to be looking at 2 parts of the 5 together to solve bits that are common to both.... then move on to the next corner of the middle grid etc
Go as far as you can with the bottom right puzzle , then combine that puzzle with the centre one and look at any overlapping cells. That should get you a few more certain numbers which hopefully you may be able to use to get more in your bottom right grid. Repeat this process for the other 3 surrounding the middle grid.
