....winning the pub quiz....back on form despite have a whole round on soaps..... but I now know which two are set in Wyvern.....
The famous people with food and drink names was okay......I got Beer and Guinness needless to say but we didn't get Tim Curry....thought it was Jeremy Beadle...but you can't eat or drink a Jeremy or a Beadle.....and me mixing him up with John Curry didn't help......
We did brilliantly on the Tarot cards round.....helps if you have a member who is into the dark arts.....☻
So.....another fantastic prize....two bottles of English wine between us....:-(

The last bottle of wine I had from our winnings was awful.......it really was undrinkable.....an after taste of fish.......that went down the sink....x
"English" wine can indeed be excellent - a premium product made from grapes grown in English vineyards.
This muck is actually "British" wine - made in a shed in Bristol, from grape concentrate imported from god-knows-where in a rusty disused oil tanker, by the taste of it.
Bliss for me tonight was falling asleep after a dose of Lemsip and waking to find dog 1 cuddled up next to me to guard me from marauders whilst I was vulnerable...
