We have listed a car on eBay tonight. We have had messages from 3 people asking what we would accept for a buy it now price with cash in hand for collection tomorrow. This seems weird. Three offers. Do you get oddballs making these offers. One asked for phone number. What do you reckon?

I have had many BIN offers for auctions I have put up. I have never sold cars.

Quite common on Ebay, Caran.

tell them your going to let the auction run, see if they make you an offer that can't be refused.

Never used E-bay, can you "private message" like on a facebook sell page?

Would be wary putting up a phone number for all to see.

No tonyav we part exchanged that for another car. We had three cars between us. OH had his MG, he also has a Mercedes that his best friend left him when he died. We also have a Citroen that we both drive as a general runaround. The decision was made he had to get rid of one as it was too expensive as pensioners to have three cars. The decision was, get rid of MG and Citroen and buy another runaround. He part exed the MG for another MG hatchback I can drive. Kept Merc for holidays etc out of respect to late friend he couldn't get rid of that. So Citroen up for sale on eBay.
