How on earth did Paul Sinha manage to become a Chaser? He is awful, and today - yet again - he lost in the final chase. He stumbles, stutters, hesitates; but, having said that, the more I watch him and the others, the more I suspect that the Chasers might sometimes be told to delay their answers or get one or two wrong in the final chase, so some teams win the money and people keep tuning in. The only one who seems to try his hardest each time is Mark Labbett.
Yes, sorry, it was yesterday. But I've even seen Shaun Wallace get questions wrong that a former Mastermind like him would normally have eaten up. Hmmmm
I think we should all go on The Chase and see how Brilliant we are. I always think I could get 6 or 7 on the cash builder but I bet under pressure and not in the sitting room, i'd probably get about 3!
Me too mazie .I can fire off answers and shout at the screen from the comfort of my armchair but would have total brain freeze under the lights in a studio being watched by millions of people.
We're fine mazie .Hope you and yours are all well too.
Can't use Pears anymore only emollient stuff or cream wash.No soap allowed after a horrendous leg ulcer last year:(
Sorry to digress goodgoalie .I don't often see my old friend .
Paul Sinha is one of the best quizzers in the world. He has earned a Top Ten placing in European Quizzing Championships and a 14th place in the World Quizzing Championships. As someone who works with him, I'm aware that he takes his work very seriously indeed. All the Chasers want to win. If you have issues with the integrity of the programme I suggest you write to ITV, Ofcom or to the independent adjudicators, Beyond Dispute, with your concerns.
