Typing Vulgar Fractions Into A Computer

I wish to have the ability to type out vulgar fractions, and it can be done. For example, I want a vulgar fraction to look like this (⅝) rather than like this (5/8), which looks a lot better, in my opinion. An app called 'Character Map' brought me the neater-looking version, but they have a limited amount of those fractions, going no further than eighths. Is there a way that I can type any fraction that I wish?

Unicode may hold the answer, though I know nothing about it. The unicode for ⅜ is: &‌#8540; But how do I enter it? Do I need the 'Control' button? That's something I don't have much experience using and find a bit baffling

You're absolutely wrong. I work in a shoe shop, but that was a nice boost to my ego :-)

You'd need to find and download a special font that had loads of them.

Alternatively there maybe word processors or similar software that can convert a font's digits into such a form when using it, but I've not come across one.

In Word (and possibly other word processors) you can make a fraction with any values by entering the upper part as superscript and lower part as subscript separated by "/".
