Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Still struggling with this one. Its either a mistake or a very obscure answer.

Any chance of contacting the setter to see if there's an error?

Could be a setters error as Jo suggests. The saying is "Butter would not melt in his mouth" Unless we are all on the wrong track.

It almost seems like an admission of defeat to do that....I am either awkward or just plain stubborn!!

Regarding the answer to the proverb BWNMIHS I also think that it should be butter would not melt in his mouth. I would contact the setter, it is not admitting defeat. We all are human and mistakes do occur from time to time whether it is number counting or anagrams , spelling or proverbs. At least if you contact the setter you can stop " Scratching your head".

Morning all.
Having deliberated on this one for over a week I happened to be in the shop this morning where I originally bought the puzzle. Lo and behold ALL the remaining puzzles for sale had been manually corrected with the last letter changed from S to M. Yes mistakes DO happen!!!!
