Thank you, Seekerz.

I'm definitely into enjoying late prezzies. I got a lovely parcel today (or should that be 'yesterday', as it's now after midnight?) from my favourite family, with lots of goodies in it - and I'm just finishing off a late prezzie to myself in the shape of an excellent bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Hic!
Question Author
now that's the way I like to celebrate birthdays ....is it a NZ sauv blanc ?? my fav b/day tipple is Cloudy Bay ....heaven in a glass !! hic
It's a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, actually. (I do like Cloudy Bay, but this is better!)
PS: Cloudy Bay costs £21 (= Aus$35.68) per bottle here. The stuff I'm drinking costs £7.49 (= Aus$12.73) but it's superb!

Mmm that is a bit savage, probably about that here too, only in $$$ about $80...we don't get a lot of Chilean wine here ..protecting the local stuff I guess.

Off to wrestle with the crossword, hope you'll have another go at the game today ...you did score a point last week, so no good pretending you don't know what it's all about !!
Garlic Bread
Hollow Victory
Yorkshire Pudding
