I don't like footballers at the best of times. I think they're all overpaid, two-faced hypocrites but I was disgusted to see Victor Moses throw his black arm band on to the floor yesterday after being sent off. Respect? A disgrace more like.

Had to look him up. 26 years old, more money than sense, father to 2 children born 2012 and 2015. One might have hoped for a lot better behaviour. Yes, I think he was disgraceful. I don't watch football but I hope he was booed off the field for his utter contempt.

Couldn't agree more. Sent off for 'diving' in the penalty area having already got a yellow card for an earlier offence.

Didn't do Chelsea any favours either, almost guaranteed a win for Arsenal.
He was hoping if his 'ploy' didn't work then the ref would have just waved play on. The Ref was not to be fooled and quite rightly awarded him a yellow card for his foul acting skills.

I interpret his action as one of dissociation. He was wearing (or made to wear) a black armband as a sign of respect. So his respect was seen to end when he threw that armband down.

Who could forget the 1974 Charity Shield?! Opposing players throwing their SHIRTS to the ground!

Whilst some players are corrupted by too much money and time on their hands there are a lot of clubs who do fantastic work in their communities. We should remember this.

I doubt he gave it much thought.
He may have easily thrown a water bottle or his boots at the wall in a "huff" and nobody would read anything in to it other than he is ver dis-pleased and unprofessional. To link that to a lack of sympathy for lives lost is a touch OTT for me.

He is, however and over paid hypercondriac, no arguments there!!

It was an impetuous and disrespectful act where a sense of reality was lost in the heat of the moment.

You would think that given the events in Manchester and the fact that this was an FA Cup final that all players would be on their best behaviour.

I don't think that where the referee comes from has anything to do with it Clarion.
