Not saying that my answers are correct but I would have a rethink on both parts of Qu 13.

cube of eight is something i shoudl have spotted and didn't- but it doesn't explain the 'very bright' bit does it? I was thinking of something like illuminate or a unit of brightness

Besides, if the answer to Q13 has only 5 letters 'cube of eight' doesn't fit, but eight on its own wouldn't fully explain either part of the clue

The answer given to 13A is completely incorrect.
Think Roman numerals and 13B is not IRATE - in roman numerals is 51+6+500

This gives LIVID which rhymes with VIVID(very bright) but not sure where you are getting 51+6+500 from
