We're having venison tag-bol. I saw the recipe in the Waitose Mag (October edition) and it looked lush. There's some damn good recipes in there this month and I might have a stab at the pecan and prosecco truffles.

What are you rustling up?

That sounds nice, Sher. I might make that for his lunchbox next week. I do spoil him.
I've got some prawns...not sure how they will be done. Most likely with lots of chilli and butter.
I just had a Yorkie bar for the first time in about 6 years. It wasn't very nice...
Certainly not as nice as the dark Bounty bar I wanted...

Prawns in chilli and butter - yummy, with a squeeze of lime!
Sausage and mash. My Saturday staple.
I don't need to think about it. It's Saturday, must be sausages.
Lime...I knew I'd forgotten something...;-0
Cannot make up my mind between king prawns or pork chops. Either one will be done in light sweet and sour sauce with tagliatelle. Just finished baking an apple and cinnamon cake, house smells delish.
I don't know why...but I keep thinking today is Sunday.

I can just imagine the smell, Sharon!

Clover - you've reminded me that I want to cook a sausage casserole one of the days.
Chicken Madras and rice. Although I might do chicken teriyaki for myself, I do like that, so tasty.
It's Saturday, so it's pizza.

Patsy, I'm actually quite jealous. I do love spicy food but it doesn't love me right now.

Save a slice for me, LiK.
Waitrose haddock fish fingers, chips and peas. (with tartar sauce)

I might make a fish finger sarnie. :-)
Well if it makes you feel better, I'm not really supposed to have too much spicy food if any! I suffer with acid reflux at times, also a sliding hiatus hernia. I just can't resist now and again!
I shall have a lovely a la carte meal watching the sunset over la gomera. With a few glasses of fizz to celebrate the end of a wonderful holiday.
out tonight to the local and one of their mixed grills, protein heaven.

Tilly, you've simply got to make a fish finger sarnie!

BM - you sound like you've had an amazing time.

DT - protein is the way forward ;)
