A bit of over reaction in my mind, rather than banning one branch of Faith make it open to all others too - far fairer.

We've all been to Fairs where there has been a stall we'd rather scurry past than browse.

Just not to impressionable young newcomers who will be whisked straight to the union bar and fed snakebite and Aftershock until they vomit their stomach lining, all in the name of education.

In fact if you read the article, it seems to have been one undergrad who made (or led) the organisers' decision and the rest of the student body sat on it with great vigour.

When you see people using phrases like 'potential harm', you know you are in the realm of young people whose academic intelligence is directly inversely proportional to their life experience and their understanding of the real world they have yet to live in.

The list of 'potential harm' situations for students living away from home for the first time could be a thousand pages long, but in terms of relevance, the 'potential harm' of a Christian society would still be at the bottom of page one-thousand.

Christian students should have as much right to promote their faith as any other - or indeed non-faith students, that's freedom of expression, and should not be supressed without seriously good reason, and 'potential harm' is far to woolly and right-on the be given house room.
