Hi, thankyou so much for your help again, ive tried working the 37. Question Stanley about last Yorkshire canyon question out again but im really struggling with how "stan" fits into the answer, does anyone have any ideas and answers with where it fits into the solution, thanks,
Starts with question- How. Clue may not be exactly right but I think it's an anagram of stan + last letter of yorkshire + a word for canyon
I believe the cloing date has passed now but I'll offer some solutions when i get chance so you can see how to tackle these for next time.

Here's 39. Clue "100010 Won 050500 (7)".

Break it into 100 +0 +10 +abbreviation for Won + 0 +50 +500 and then replace numbers by Roman numerals.

What do you get?

Hi, thankyou for your help again, the quiz has been extended until thursday as i lot of the people in the group haven't completed it yet and asked the club for an extra two days, unfortunately as well im still struggling with finding the words for the roman numerals, do you have any ideas and answers for any of the other questions left as well, thanks,
Quiz extended ... Hurrah !
Oh good grief!
Read this then . . . .

https://www.knowtheromans.co.uk/Categories/SubCatagories/RomanNumerals/RomanNumerals1-1000/

Then match each one as in FF's example put together to find the place your'e looking for.
25. Strengthen bog perhaps before two animals take auditions (24) (4 words).

Your suggested answer of Walled Gardens at Scampston is wrong as it ignores the content/wordplay of the clue.

Thing of a word for strengthen (answer ends in 'en')
Think of another word for a bog, especially a peat bog.
Think of two animals often seen together in Yorkshire in shows.
Think of another word for auditions.

(Cue Jokes about were they found guilty)
^the two animals make one animal breed name when put together

Q 7. Question Stanley about last Yorkshire canyon
How + anagram of Stan +E is right. But GRAND doesn't come into it- you need another word for a canyon.

Are you not from Yorkshire, Kelly?

Hi, is the answer to Q 37: How stean gorge, also does anyone know the correct answers to Q's 14, 16, 26, 29, 32 and 38, ive tried really hard trying to work the answers out but im still really stuggling with them, im again thankful for all the help with them, thanks,
29 East Riddlesden Hall

You were given this answer on Sunday do you not read them Kelster?
That was 28, cashier, but I know what you mean. I think some threads were removed though so maybe kelly didn't see all the replies
Sorry I just get fed up of the constant, endless scrolling on these questions.
I thought I had a possible answer for 16 but the one I had in mind is in North Notts rather than South Yorks. There is a village in Yorks called Idle (and a river) if that helps- I'm not sure if that is part of the answer though
Question Author
Hi, thankyou for your help again, ive tried working out the answer to Q16 but i can't find the other word for river, do you know the correct answer and any help for it, also do you have any more correct answers and help for the rest of the questions that haven't been solved yet, thanks again,
No, I don't know it, sorry. I wasn't thinking of anything to do with a river (River Idle is in Notts but part of it forms the boundary with S yorks.) There is I think an Idle Valley and an Idle Church but I think I may be on the wrong track. I can't see a case for your Khyber though- what was your reasoning?
