I'm actually terrified of the dentist and practically have a panic attack when sitting in the chair. I was better when the kids were with me for a check up as I had to pretend that it was no big deal, now they're adults, I feel like it's back to square one.
I have a very vivid memory from when I was about 8 years old when the dentist told me to stop crying, he held the drill near my face and told me that it was a dog and it would bite me if I didn't stop. So, I bit his finger when he put it in my mouth. I was barred from that particular dentist.
Thanks Mamy. I have everything crossed at the moment.
