Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm interested too, crosswordlady, I enter dozens every week and have had one win in about ten years.

I did win a half share of the prize crossword in the Sunday Express back in the '60s. I think it was £2 10/-. :-)

Quite a few of the people who contribute regularly to Crosswords and Q&P have wone prizes, myself included. Not sure there is a "best place to find competitions though" !! Local paper competitions will have less entries than National paper competitions, so I suppose you might have a better chance of winning if you stick to them.
Enjoy doing your crosswords and competitions crosswordlady, and remember if you're not in it ..... you cant win it.

Thanks Douglas and Sam,
I enjoy doing puzzles of all kinds and always find it an extra incentive to finish them if there is a possible prize. I have just started trying them again after a long break so I'm a very rusty. I'm glad I've found this answerbank - I like your quote "if you're not in it ..... you cant win it." Sam - I'll keep that in mind :)
