Here the Queen is a duke (answer is a fabric made up of 6 letters).
If this has ben asked before, I'm very sorry but if you could point me in the right direction to find the answer I would be more than happy.

Thanks folks!

This has been answered before and I think it was saxony
A high-grade wool fabric originally made from the wool of sheep raised in Saxony.
foxy, do you want the answer or only a clue? Saxony is wrong by the way
Sorry ...... TCL is correct..I found it by doing a category search. We had this quiz before .If you just want a clue think of something abbreviated which is a limited and then the german word for mountain but spelled with u not an e
.I think that was the correct answer in the end.
Erm......shaney I've not seen this question asked before but the answer I'm thinking on is also a garment starting wi "J." I can't work out yir clue.
Well the answer given before for this was Coburg.
But...I have backtracked and found the correct one now !!
Gawd ....
I think I had better have a drink or clean my specs.
It does indeed begin with J and is an island.
And also a garment and a fabric !!!
Where's that whisky bottle?
There, there, shaney, don't worry "NURSE!" <Coburg? wanders off shaking head>
i am sorry ! I must be having a senior moment !!
What about Jersey? I seem to recall the Queen claims the title 'Duke of Normandy.

Thanks lads and lasses - me Mam is going to be very happy especially as she said she wondered if it could be jersey. It's her that does these quizzes, I'm pretty hopeless but she will ask me when she is completely stuck! I'll give her a ring tonight.

This is how I found the site by looking up answers for her! And shaney, hope you had a good night's sleep!

Dare I wonder why you were talking about Coburg (coberg) and what is mountain in German? Aha, my turn to be dense - co + berg but is Coburg a fabric even though that's not the answer!

I mind on a question in "The Weakest Link" "What item of clothing is also an island in The Channel Islands?" the answer given by the contestant was Guernsey-cue a mocking Anne Robbinson "Even JERSEY!" A guernsey is similar to a jersey and it's also what they call the tops worn by Aussie Rules players.

Anyway that ends to-day's bit of useless info (unless, of course, you get to appear on The Weakest LInk and yir asked the same question and fancy a "pop" at Annie)
