Ongoing Problem

I had my flu jab on 17th October, and got a cold about a week later, which only lasted a few days.Since then I have problems with my cattargh, but the worst is the coughing really bad, cant seem to end it , some time loose sometimes not. Went to see Doctor last week and he prescribed antibiotics, I only have 3 days left of a weeks course, got an inhaler as well.Thought by now I would be feeling better but am not ,still coughing badly cant sleep at night properly because of it. It feels like I have a never ending cold ,my nose runs a lot, am getting a bit worried about it. I am sorry to bore you all with this, but if anybody has any suggestions I would be very grateful.

Seems that your doctor is doing all the routine procedures that come to mind.
Post viral coughs can often last 6-7 weeks and then mysteriously go as they appeared, but give it another week and if there is no improvement then return to your GP and suggest a chest X-Ray.
