Damage To Foot.
5 Answers
Six years ago I fell and broke most of the bones in my foot. After an operation and a rod inserted in my leg it was repaired and has been OK since.
On the 4th of this month I fell down two stairs and gave the same foot a hell of a bang.
I've had 2 X rays since and they say no bones are broken. A and E then sent me home, and my Doctor gave me some powerfull painkillers. It is now a month and I am having trouble getting to see a doctor (they are always fully booked), Its still very painful trying to put my foot down
even with elbow crutches.
My question is whether I should expect some other treatment (Its not even bandaged up) after this length of time, or can I expect it to improve on its own. (I'm in my early eighties)
Thanks.

Of course you realise that this is guesswork on my part.
