1. They sang from tree to tree (3,7)
2. Found singing at a chimps tea party (3,7)

I have an an answer for one of these, but it could fit both. Just want to see what people come up with to help me make up my mind.

1 The Monkees
1 The Monkees
The Hollies
The Animals ?
2 Bad Manners?
Although Bad Manners were formed in the 70s, they didn't have their first hit until 1980, so unlikely to be them...
Bad Company?
Bad Company were mid 70s abd fit teh pattern but I don't see why the clue would mention tea party
True, that.
The "Bad ..." set me thinking. :)
I'm pretty sure The Monkees will be the answer for 2 rather than 1. Not 100% sure about The Hollies for 1 but it's a good call.
1, The Goodies ( maybe ), Funky Gibbon.
