Unbelievably bad tat, poor taste and what happened to control from Buck House.....I remember when they threatened misuse of the Scottish arms when Scotland actually qualified for the world cup, pointing out that it was an offence punishable by death.

Your views on this? Your worst examples of Harry and Meghan tat or from past royal events?

the gawd-awful wedding dress of Princess Diana is/was stunningly nauseating.

You cannot be Serious!!! . . . . . . . Dreadfully Tasteless Tat imo.
I did smile at Jim Moir's (Vic Reeves) plates - hope they like them.

Question Author
(Sqad may like them) Gets me coat and goes for the door....
lol Mamya, £300 and out-of-stock to boot !!

Question Author
Yes but they sent some to the happy couple - I'd smile for sure.
Question Author
I'd use those if I was them.....
I still have, and use, a pair of Charles and Diana mugs, Dunoon pottery I think. They've lasted well...........!
Oh Alba, Diana's frock, I still recall the gasps of disbelief as she poured it out of the carriage and the miles of creased silk followed. Do the designers not consider things like carriages? P. Anne's frock was still my favourite, her first one not the second, I didn't much like Kate's. it seemed to personify her, very fitted and buttoned up.
Hadn't noticed that the prince had a cleft chin before.
The tat control ended when places like China got in on the market.

I loved Diana's dress at the time. But I was only a wee girl so it kind of fitted with the whole idea of Princess. In hindsight it was an abomination.

As for Royal Wedding tat, I have an entire house full of it. Altho it is not yet at my house (and it will be over my cold dead body if it does make it to my house). My mother in law must have spent a fortune on Charles and Di stuff and Andrew and Sarah stuff. Oh my word, there are some horrors.

You're right spath. I'm willing to help out with my phrenology skills if requested.
