I can’t describe it’s exact location but twice today already I’ve had a funny pain (somewhere in my left buttock is as best a location and type of sensation) which has caused my leg to basically become jelly like and very in supportive.

It only lasts a few seconds but it is becoming (already) annoying.

It occurs when I’m about to weight bear on that leg. First time around I came over slightly dizzy and faint when it happened -presumably as I was t aware it was happening.

Any thoughts what it could be?

Much too early to tell on that description what is going on...if anything.
Monitor the situation for the next few days.

Will do Sqad. Just took me by total surprise. I’m just glad I had the lid on the box of cereal!

Thank you :)
Your sciatic nerve runs through your buttock. Perhaps a niggle with that & it's causing the other sensations/symptoms?
I have had sciatica for about 5 years on & off, as well as pain in thigh, buttock & down leg I've experienced sensations like my toes being in cold water & all sorts.
Keep an eye on it & see what happens. A trip to Docs or osteopath might be in order.

That crossed my mind Misty!

I’ll keep what you have said in mind but will keep an eye out for now and see what happens.
Ive had this a couple of times before and it turned out to be sciatica. It can be very painful. But I have been told to keep moving otherwise it can seize up.

My mum had sciatica- from what I remember it was bad. It wasn’t overly painful just ‘funny’ I’m always on the go, but will keep an eye on it see what happens.
