RICCIARDO on Pole, great for RED BULL. MAX VERSTAPPEN starts last due to crashing, but he is quite capable of finishing on Podium. RED BULL finishing 1st and 2nd would be brill !! lol...lol

Don't fancy Hamilton's chances today, it's a hard course to overtake on. Best bet is that Verstappen makes his way through the pack and causes his usual mayhem near the front.

Usual procession of a Monaco GP, with an occasional tyre-changing competition to liven it up - the cars are just too wide for any sensible racing at Monaco - the race was won/lost in the qualifying session yesterday.

None of which means the drivers aren't brilliant - and the pictures are certainly stunning - the Leclerc crash quite spectacular - but it's not racing in any proper sense of the word.

Baku was wonderful.
