My 8yr old has had the same dance teacher for 5yrs, she recently watched a show for another dance school and wants to jump ship. The other dance school has a greater choice of classes and more opportunities to grow than where she is at the moment. How do I word this to her current teacher, she is lovely and I don't want to offend her ☹

Dear lovely dance teacher, This is to let you know that little person will no longer be attending dance classes after such and such a date. She has enjoyed her time immensely with you and we both wish you all the best for the future, sincerely Mum . No reason required x

I would be honest and say what you said above. Stress that's she wants change and to do different dances, more challenging dances.
or just give notice, no need to explain
Just tell her she is leaving. You dont need to explain why.

" Hey douchbag, my daughter is going to be a star, a big star, but not with you as her teacher. You are lovely and a wonderful person but you are a loser as most lovely people. Don't take this as a criticism and oh! by the way....thanks."

That should do it.

Thankyou Kvalidir, I have been over thinking this! That is exactly what I will put, nice and simple and squad, that really made me laugh, she may never be a star but she will certainly have a better opportunity and her new school!
