Alexis Korner Cassette Tapes

Been having a sort out and came across a box of between 40 - 50 tapes of Alexis Korner's radio show from many years ago. My brother used to tape everyone and then pass them on to us. Some really good music on there if I remember. Is it possible to have them transferred onto CDs or would it not be worth the cost. We could then play them in the car while driving round France. Dare say it is possible to do it at home but wouldn't know where to start.

ahh that takes me back - Alexis's show was on sunday evenings when I was driving home to London, usually from some far flung wild place. here's a typical track from the period......

Seem to remember Mr BD and my brother howling with laughter when he played a track about Blind Lemon Chittlin' (or some similar name) who was led into the studio to play his guitar. All I remember is Alexis saying "What is he doing? What has he got in his hand? Oh god, get him out of the studio quick" Had to be some sort of spoof but it was really funny.
