44ac is lights camera action.
28d is jalousie
Meant to say that a jalousie is a french shutterd window, or blind.
Also 44ac refers to a film take.

28d don't like, don't think the clue makes sense

jail (prison) + ouse (river) no prob,? but no indication to anagram?

Hi, 28d as you say jail+ouse+one(i)= jalousie; shutter.
jailousie answer ISN'T an anagram. It's a straightforward stick jail in front, followed by river and bung an "i" in.

I agree with billyshears as far as stick "jail" in front of "ouse" - not with "bung an 'i' in". Better is move the 'i' lower down the order (ie one's lowered!).

I don't say I like the clue, but I think that interpretation was in the setter's mind!
