Initially I put sear - scorch, but on reflection I couldn't relate that to profit. I think it must be seer - prophet. What do you think?

I say the opposite it should be SEAR
Sear = scorch is the definition
However it really should be "scorch the prophet say"
BUT whatever, the say relates to the profit/prophet and the answer should be SEAR

prophet sounds like profit, I think CJ has them in reverse order.

Margo - profit does not come into it. It is a compiler's error spelling prophet incorrectly!

They are sometimes pretty blurred in the paper, can't seem to get on with things on-line, have to see it in front of me.
