What is your favourite animal?

I'm quite fond of the Black panther and i also love the octopus.

Fun fact - did you know an octopus is similar to a worm in the sense its limbs have their own brain and heart? They have decentralised brains and they have no "reward centre". Amazing creatures.

My favourite wild animal is the Hippopotamus. So cumbersome on land but when you see them underwater they are like a different species.

I also love Hens they all have personalities . I have three .

Horses are my favourite domestic animal, I have two, followed closely by cats.

Oh they can be very vicious when deciding who is the top hen, then they all become friends. LOL .

The Tarsier, Pallas cat, and swifts
And elephants.

Swifts because they took so amazing and I always feel uplifted when I see them.

I get Tarsiers mixed up with the Slow loris

Ducks. I think they're so cute. Pity they're so tasty as well.

So long as they don't get mixed up or there could be some rather embarrassed small mammals. Easy to tell apart, Tarsiers have bigger eyes slow Loris have eye patches, thicker fur and are more apelike. Tarsiers have spindlier limbs and can move a whole lot quicker, and are more agile.

Orangutans for me, fabulous creatures. I love they way they weigh you up, slowly considering you with an unflinching stare. Gorgeous. And Donkeys, I adore donkeys. Too many have such a hard life, are worn out, it breaks my heart see some of them. And Mutts, last but not least. All shapes and sizes, treated right you have someone who loves you more than themselves. In fact I don't think there are any creatures I don't like. They all do what they have to do to survive.

Donkeys are strange creatures, they are all born with that worn out look lol! I know of some very pampered donkeys who look completely peed off most of the time lol.

I have just thought of an animal I really don't like.... slugs. I really hate slugs, at least they get eaten by loads of things

Rowan....I HATE slugs. I used to have my milk delivered and they'd always be a slug on one of the bottles. I'd send the boys out to deal with it.

Slugs are on my hate list also. I stopped late night summer dog walks because they seemed to be EVERYWHERE.
I too adore orangutans...lovely creatures. Also elephants for their majesty and strong family attachments.
All cats...both big and small.

Anyway Dogs and cats are obvious I look after enough of them for family. I do have a great affection for Wolves, Huskies, and Tigers. From the past Velociraptors always get my vote over the boring oaths called T-rex.
