Is anyone doing this series ?
I would recommend it - starts off with a murder
and is fast paced

Daily Teleg didnt like it - and said it was worse than BodyGuard - but I thought it was faster paced and better scripted. The crit thought there were too many cliches however some I had seen acted out in Real Life in Manch ....

I'm up to episode 5 and finding it reasonable. The attempt at humour is a bit juvenile in parts, but i can put up with that - for a short while at least. Thought Bodyguard was much better, though.

sorry to add that i couldn't understand much of the dialogue, and i am not deaf yet. this street talk does my head in...

I agree emmie, I find street talk very difficult to understand on the television, which is the only time I hear it.

I was surprised to see the future episodes already in the boxed set.

The other objected to cliches are older Gabe trying to train pretty young lady with amazing sky blue eyes er as a pupil ( is it CGI?) who makes a mistake but then pulls the coals out of the fire....

as for dialog - try shopping in Lidl - virtually no one 'has cucumber sarndwiches on the looorrrn' and some are quite nice

We watched the final episode, last night, and I have many questions to ask but it might spoil things for others.
