Could You Cope With A Week Of Your Own Company
70 Answers
No friends/family to deal with. No phone/internet/tv/radio etc. Just a week on your own...basically solitary confinement. You could have books to read or music to listen to and essentials like food, toiletries but no human interaction WHATSOEVER.
Could you do it?
(prediction...most, if not all replies will say yes, definitely! But really think about it. How many of us has spent more than a day alone without even a radio for company?)
Thanks.

I am not without love for my wife but I have done without her for the last week whilst she visited our Grand daughters in Dorset. Two weeks ago she came back from USA after a 3 week holiday .She puts the radio on first thing in the morning. When she is away I never turn it on. I learnt to survive and I enjoy my own company but also more than happy to engage in social intercourse. I am very pickey as to who I consider my friends though and don't suffer fools gladly.If I was sole survivor in a aircraft crash on a desert Island (Lost) I would treat it as a challenge and live very happily in splendid isolation. :-)
//and a case of good vino.//
Ah DTC. Never thought of that when I wrote what a wonderful survivalist I would make on a desert Island. I know how to make a still to purify water with a plastic bag membrane in a sand pit so I guess I could soon fashion a contraption to distill coconut milk into falling down juice. Sorted.

all you need is the rum, retro....can the still be adapted.
As long as I don't have to share with two particular ABers - now that would be hell on earth. Don't even need fodder, as my past experiences did involve learning about foraging, insects et al plus the greens out there. Now the rum - cheers.
