note your comments on Lovatts, but will give it a try. My wife is the expert on cryptics, but I,m not too good, although very many years ago, I used to do the Manchester Guardian crosswords. Osteoarthritis we are very familiar with, my wife has 2 new hips and spinal problems. Hope you control the pain.
I am waiting for a new hip and knee edgar but I am still youngish (ha ha ) and you have to wait until they are practically gone before they will do anything. I have spondylitis in the spine which they can't do much about. However a stiff drink and try to keep moving is my motto !! All these drugs can be dodgy and I have had many different ones. The cryptics in
Lovatts are good because they do explanations.Like any cryptic crossword compiler they all have their own mind set.Thank goodness for crosswords is all I can say. They keep the old grey matter ticking and help you forget the aches and pains.
I was so sorry to hear about your ostearthritis. My mother is 84 and has arthritis, she has also had a hip replacement twice. I fully appreciate the pain and how debilitating in can be. I do hope you can get some help to relieve the pain in the not to distant future.
