Ok Smouse - although it doesn't concern you, and I do not like your attitude, I shall answer you.
I think that the only quizzes that I have downloaded, and done myself were the two Rainbow ones, the Learning Curve and On the Warpath. (I don't think there were any others but over the years there may have been an odd one). I found these very enjoyable, so thank you to the compilers for putting them on the website. I also do the Guardian Prize crossword, the Everyman, the Azed and the Guardian Genius as these are also on websites. I don't have enough other time to do any other crosswords even though some are on websites and are free. The only other participation I have with any quizzes or crosswords is through AB.
You are right I do not support the charities as I live in Thailand and have no means (without great expense) to remit funds to the UK. However, I support more charities over here than you would imagine!
For instance, I sponsor a child's education.
The only puzzle that I actually enter is the Guardian Genius.
I enjoy solving cryptic clues but you can buy quiz books or crossword books if that is all you want. I enjoy quizzes but to me it is the rapport with the other ABers that is more important.
