Himalayan hammock carries British National emblem (9)

N in the study of mosses, but loses its log (6)

Claw with guides emblem (5,4,7)

Snake's annoying failure (6,7)

Just realise that wood sorel should be wood sorrel to fit the 4,6.

N in the study of mosses, but loses its log (6) = bryony

(bryology - log and including N)

Snake's annoying failure (6,7) = viper's bugloss

Sorry, thats all for tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.

Claw with guides emblem (5,4,7) = bird's-foot-trefoil

I've run out of ideas for your last one though.

And the last one is . . . dandelion

I found a definition of 'dandy' on this page of Hindustani - Urdu - Hindi words used by Kipling here that defines it as 'a Himalayan hammock like litter'. It is not in my Chambers Dictionary. I suppose 'dandy' is close enough to 'dande' for it to be the answer.
