ED, Every now and again when clicking in latest posts it takes a long time for the post to appear with the circle spinning for ages. This has been happening for more than a week.

Same thing happened to me recently, did disk clean and defraged my computer to no avail. Then suddenly normal service was returned. Must have been some issue at AB end, although WBM said he was having problems this morning.

I've noticed it often takes ages of late. Not consistent though. Haven't checked if "latest posts" could be a factor; just assumed it was random, and common.

That will have no effect on browsing websites. It might possibly make a slight improvement to the performance of applications actually installed on your machine's hard disk, but highly unlikely.
