Many apologies - I know from experience I should have provided more background info ... duh...

The letters I have are (1) -O-N (2)-A- (two word answer)

The clue is "Working during male party one day in Berlin..." and a W has to be added as part of the rules of this particular crossword. My reasoning was "SONTAG" plus W, anagrammed, but I can't parse the "male party" part of the clue. All help appreciated. Sorry again about eariler lack of data

okay, I see the instructions say " (These resulting words are not defined in their clues.)"

Unfortunately, Maskerade has arranged this so that (quote) "These resulting words are not defined in their clues". The objective, therefore, is to find a plausible answer for the clued part, then add the selected letter, then anagram it to get an answer which is NOT clued in any way.... so very tricky ... and yes, the clue does end at Berlin.
