Some have Play Stations, a TV in this establishment on the Isle of Man, 3 meals a day,heating,
What kind of a deterrent is that!
They must be scrambling to get in there

If prisons are Butlins put your name down and join the queue to get in.

Hardly like standard prisons. Plus they get sent there for quite minor things.

Bobbie, do you REALLY want to know what prisons are really like in the UK? Or do you want to believe what you see on a made for you TV documentary?

Prisons are, for the most part, the most degrading, dangerous, boring, violent, dirty, places that you could ever wish to be.
Everyone who views prison as a holiday camp seems to have an adversity to spending any time in one (even just as an experiment)

Nailit, this prison is different but as Bobbi says they are all locked up for minor crimes.

But I DO get brassed off at this idea that Prisons are holiday camps.

Trust me, no jail is a holiday camp!
But any time I try to give a true reflection of jail life I will get shot down. Believe the edited media accounts if you want.
