Thanks guys, that has been very useful, I should have more confidence in myself but I've now seen another one that I'm not sure of

2 all I can think of is a lake .. anagram of akela (wolf)
What about towel for number 2
how about TOWEL for number 2
^Should it read stray wet wolf HAS one? Then towel would make sense.

mallyh I don't think it could be a lake, it needs to be one 5 letter word
canlock Towel is a good answer, I can see where that comes from in wet wolf
