Further to my post on 19th November, there are only two items unanswered :

Rival to the Daily Express?

Dig out the F and replace with a T

Both cryptically refer to famous UK Landmarks or places.

Re the other (Rival to the Daily Express), a friend has suggested the Guardian statue (Six Bells Mining Monument in Wales). I'm not sure that the Bull in Birmingham is widely known as the Guardian (I couldn't find any on-line links). What do you all think?

At the main entrance to the west building stands The Guardian, a 2.2-metre (7 ft 3 in) tall bronze sculpture of a running, turning bull.
