Sparkly, I'm finding it difficult just going to local shop, but it's for the best, that's what I keep telling myself. I know supermarket delivery slots were a few weeks, but my BIL got a next day one by signing in just after midnight.
When cats get hungry they will eat what's in their bowls, that's my experience anyway, unless you want to go down expensive route of giving them chicken. Government guidelines allow you to go out for essential tasks, food shopping is one.
Its getting tough now, I spent yesterday desperate to go out for the day. Not for a walk round our local area, but for a proper day out. I'm less concerned about the shopping as we have a good local shop and full cupboards, but I am definitely finding it hard to adjust to being home and doing everything together.
I've just posted this on your other thread by mistake..
Sparkly, I've just double-checked on Amazon, as that's where I have been getting it, they seem to have plenty of different cat (and dog) foods there.
Simple pleasures. I want to visit my local garden centre and then have a cuppa in the café there. Luckily we have a garden and are not enclosed in a small flat. That's a mercy.
I long to meet my dear friend for lunch and a natter like we always did. It's like living in a bad nightmare at the moment. We all need to be so strong, don't we, but it is hard. I'm sorry for your problems shopping Sparkly.
Yes, thank goodness for our fairly small garden and the allotment.
Like you ladyjanine I would love to potter round the garden centres and have a cuppa. Local dog walks do get tedious when you are used to woods and fields, but we carry on, carrying on.
Also, with the best will in the world, it’s difficult to adjust to having OH home 24/7.
Morning Sparkly ( and all ) I agree it is becoming more stifling, it’s those things we took for granted that we are unable to do now, we are sleeping longer as there’s no sense of purpose to get up anymore, chin up and hope it levels out soon
I hate that no sense of purpose Bobbi, I always wake up feeling down as it hits me yet again what we are going through. Somehow, like all of us, I manage to get through the day.
You probably already know, but Amazon also has a Pantry section, non-perishable things, cleaning etc. You fill up boxes. I haven't used it recently, so not sure how well-stocked they are, but maybe worth a look for those struggling xx
