Bit late today with a post....been sitting out front with the neighbours toasting a significant birthday for one. We have sat at the end of our drives since 2pmish and had a chat and a drinky poos . The lady in question is on her own and both her children are away from home isolated by the virus. Back to business then. Looks like the real racing might resume in a couple of weeks behind locked gates, with fields limited to 12 runners. That would be good, perhaps we will have less 3,4,&5 runner races as well. Looks as if the Derby and Oaks could be run on the same day as well. For now I have made do with the ITV7 races at Gulfstream again and done my usual 4* horse punt. E/W Acca, e/w Doubles and Trebles. Covered the 7 in a little E/W roll up as well. A scramble bet can be done if the first picks take the usual thrashing. Good luck if you have a go.

Afternoon, Togo, and good luck with your selections. Have been having a small punt each day with varied luck but did manage a Trixie/treble last night with 3 'shorties' that realised just under £45.
One or two riders missing over the last few days and i'm wondering if they're under suspension? Anyhow;

One things for sure; when our racing does return, if they continue the unfamiliar timings, it won't feel so alien :-)

Must confess Ken I had a £2 double up last night at Gulfstream. I have been looking out for Pletcher runners ridden by Louis Saez and did the late runners that fitted that profile there last night. Paid me £24, and very nice too thank you sir. I was actually just looking ahead to what was on the cards for today and looking for an angle/handle on events and had noticed that they were both on fire, this week, when I looked at the results of the last few days. So before I closed down and went to bed I put a couple of quid on Eve of War and Graceful Princess. Luis Saez looks like the go to guy for the trainers.

More or less same system as i'm using for Racing Stateside, T; that plus huge drops in grade. Michael Maker (trainer) also worth a look as he is also firing on all cylinders at the moment.
Two or three Wesley Ward newcomers out last week and, because of the hype surrounding them, their prices were non-conducive as regards a punt. Only one of them won (one beaten @ 1/4) and definitely no pointers to Royal Ascot were it to take place, behind closed doors, of course.

Incidentally, two of last night's winners were Saez ridden (Combination and Eve Of War) with the other ridden by Edgard Zayez.

Haha Ken. Running for cover now. Do a Yank on the last 4 and take the medicine. Notice you had two of the first 3 but not coupled in a punt. Drives ya nuts that.

Crap again. Perhaps I will get up early and have a look at Sha Tin in the morning. Can't be bothered tonight now, but there are some nice group races including G1.
