Grumpy, as has been stated many times, if a question is asked then it can be answered.It is up to the op to comply with the rules of the competition, not answerbank.

'No answer policy specified' means just that, Mrs Smith has not specified an answer policy.

Just to be clear, gleave has not gone against the setter's request as there is no 'no asking' rule on this one.

The point I was trying to make to Grumpy was that, even if a no answer policy had been requested by the setter it would be up to the OP to comply and not the members of AnswerBank.
