Never seen the pantry so bereft of food stocks.

We tend to go day by day for the day.

Not been to a supermarket for weeks, don't fancy the idea of queuing outside.

Spar have most things.

Are there still queues? I walked straight into our large Tesco on Thursday afternoon, OH was able to do the same yesterday afternoon.
The biggest queues seem to be around lunchtime and even then they move pretty quickly nowadays. People aren't panic buying so much now.
Except meat and cider.
Never stood in a supermarket for 9 weeks now, son in law does our shopping, must think we’re minted as he always gets more than we need haha but he’s our golden boy anyway x
Delivery? Click and collect?
I somehow manage to get deliveries so I make the most of them buying heavy bulky stuff. Every now and then I'll pop to the local Co op to get fresh stuff but there always seems to be a queue when I go. I've tried late morning, lunchtime, afternoon and early evening.
And expensive as well Tiggs x
Our Co-op is cheaper than Sainsbury's but just stocks essential. I'm hoping to persuade OH to go shopping at Aldi next week rather than get deliveries from Sainsburys. I don't normally do a weekly shop at Sainsburys but they were the only store that offered me priority delivery slots.
4 pints of milk in local coop is £1-50
Asda , £1-10
Yes Bobbs, it does work out more expensive :o( x

Also, I can't believe how much I have spent on Amazon in the last few weeks! Today I've ordered a fold-able laptop desk.

Sainsbury's £1.85
I don’t think your alone there Tiggs and I believe folk are buying extra online to give them a boost , to date I’ve bought a new computer ( other ones C partition had broken, found that out when I tried to do a hard reset on it) a new Apple Watch as the other I got off Mr B at Christmas gone kept freezing ( so that was really a return and a new one so no money, and an upgrade to an Apple 11 phone , notice mines all tech stuff :0/
Gosh APG, that is expensive

Cheers folks. Might venture out next week to Morrisons, etc.
I've had to also order clothing/summer gear from Debenhams for Little Tiggs. He is growing out of his current clothes and needed some new shorts and sandals.
I've just checked the Sainsbury's website. 4 pint semi-skimmed is £1.10. 4 pints of organic semi-skimmed is £1.55 Where do you live, APG?
Haven't you got anyone who'll go shopping for you, Sparkle?
My 75yr old neighbour does most of mine.
It could be a Sainsbury’s local Barry , like Tesco Extra, they are franchises and prices differ in them
Question Author
I have got used to shopping locally. Might venture further afield soon.
Sparklykid is the one shopping for other people Spicey and he himself is 75, a good neighbour indeed
