Hi tony - i remember my aunt doing something similar - pony went hell for leather half a mile or so, back to its stable - didn't do much for me, guess i was about 10 !!

I've never ridden, closest I've being is a donkey ride aged about five in Blackpool.

Donkey's are ok, Arky, they tend to be not so feisty. First donkey ride for me was on the beach at Rhyll in Wales ( around about the same age as you I think ).
