David Glen Gold recommended book.....

I need help with finding a book. I was on holiday a month ago in England and I was in WH Smith in Colchester Train Station and spied a book that was no 1 in their charts. It had a bit of a blurb at the bottom of it where David Glen Gold recommended it. I didn't not the name of the book or the author as I thought it would be easy enough to get when ireturned from holidays as it was no 1 in the chart. Silly me! Since then I hasvnt managed to find it anywhere. My local bookshop couldn't help and it's not in the WH Smith chart online or any othe other bookstores online charts. Does anyone have any idea what the book was?
