I heard somebody on the news saying that the protests in the US are all part of a leftist plan to make the US a communist annexe of Russia. How would this be a consequence of the protests?

Forgot to add Russia is simply laughing at the US. While the US is distracted with appeasement virtue signalling Russia and even China simply make their own plans.

I get the whole Antifa thing and infiltration, but how would the process actually work for the US (or any other country actually) to become annexed as part of Russia (or any other country), it seems a bit of a stretch from looting and protests.
